eaching experience is positively linked with a learner’s achievements throughout a teacher’s career. A teacher’s effectiveness increases at a greater rate when we teach in a supportive working environment. This experience permeates throughout the district, grade level, subject, and state. I can describe myself as a friendly, sympathetic and respectful teacher.

As a teacher it is easy for us to get respect from our learners if they really feel respected first. We might be better in front of our students when it's time to speak while describing our knowledge, thoughts and understanding. However, they might become or be more intelligent and talented than us.

I keep my qualities in mind when it's time to share the knowledge with my lovely students. Some of the things I focus on are:

  • Effective goals of teaching
  • Clear communication with learners
  • Being a role model
  • Adapting the habit of flexibility
  • Being prepared for my lessons
  • Life-long effects of my teaching on learners
  • Promoting the level and interest of learning in students

As a teacher I have an ability to solve conflicts and social/emotional intelligence. Creativity is my priority in the teaching process. I explain tough knowledge and information in a simple way. I also make connections on a personal level to increase their intelligence ability.

I have the experience and understand that effective teachers should always demonstrate a deep understanding of the course they are teaching. I plan, teach and analyze to promote mastery for all students. I provide high quality instruction to increase learners’ achievement for all students by giving them well researched-based knowledge and education filled with technology.

My experience throughout the teaching process gave me the ability to deal with discipline and time management, which are key components of teaching. Staying on top of classroom management is crucial.

"I am greatly concerned about our community and feel great as a teacher, guider, builder, and nation maker." - Faiza Iqbal

I have also joined an academy to deliver my knowledge to those students who are at another institute, but are willing to get more education. I maintain my class properly and keep my eyes on every student in front of me.

I adapt my teaching methods in order to fit the needs of the students through the teaching process. Problem solving is another skill which I have adopted to my teaching experience. I believe that I should possess determination in front of my students. Every day I would like to use my experience and skills to grow and become a more inspirational teacher.

I have the ability of being a confident person because I always try to deliver my thoughts with research-based education, which makes me an ideal teacher who freely talks about knowledge and education to build the learner's mind. I try to bond with students, connect them with other staff members, and always focus on learning and continuous growing.

The problems I faced are:

  • Difficulty teaching students who aren't disciplined a home
  • Salary is less desirable
  • Lack of support from admin staff
  • Continuous professional development requirements

How can we improve ourselves?

As teachers we should strengthen our technology skills, brush up on our pedagogy, improve our classroom management, and keep ourselves and our learners more politically active. Our focus should be on adjusting our mindsets and preparing the education we have to deliver. We should take steps toward National Board Certification and organization. Teaching our students until they understand the exact knowledge. This “aha moment” makes you feel proud to be a teacher and forgetting about the results related to your personal benefits.

This is why I became a teacher. It gives our learners a chance at life.
